The “Bock” beer variety is an important part of the Franconian beer brewing heritage: the “Bock” contains significantly more alcohol than regular beer and it is only produced for special occasions. The tapping of a barrel of “Bock” is always greatly anticipated since it marks the beginning of a fifth and quite tasty season.
