16 different vacation landscapes provide plenty of variety with culinary delights such as delicious cuisine, beer and wine specialities, sights and lively culture. Over half of the territory is protected in ten nature parks making Franconia a dream come true for nature lovers.
Physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing are all catered to, as is the interest in experiencing history. Franconia‘s cities, towns and villages offer special cultural, architectural, and culinary highlights. There are also countless historical and natural sights, museums and of course the local culture.
In Franconia’s 19 spa and resort towns, the “Health Park Franconia”, healing waters and thermal springs can be enjoyed in a classic, relaxing soak. Furthermore there are unique offerings, such as a salt lake or Bavaria’s hottest and strongest hot spring.
